Lewis Hamilton MBE was born on the 7th of January 1985 in Stevenage Hertfordshire and is a Formula One racing driver for the McLaren Mercedes team. The youngest ever Formula One champion set numerous records in his first two seasons in motor racing's highest class. In his 35 races so far, Lewis achieved 13 pole positions, 22 podiums, 9 wins, 1 runners-up medal in 2007 and the title as F1 Driver's World Champion in 2008.
Valentino Rossi was born in Urbino, Italy on 16 February 1979. Valentino is MotoGP World Champion and has won eight Grand Prix World Championships in four different categories i.e.125cc, 250cc, 500cc to the current MotoGP. He won the inaugural MotoGP in 2002 and repeated his success in 2003, 2004, 2005 and 2008. Valentino is the only rider to achieve Championship wins in all four classes.
Sir Stirling Craufurd Moss was born on 17 September 1929 in London. Stirling's first GP win was the British Grand Prix in Aintree in 1955 when driving for Mercedes Benz. He went on to win a further 16 grand prix races. Stirling was often called "the best driver never to have been world champion". In 1962 Stirling was badly injured in a crash at Goodwood which led to his decision to retire from racing. Stirling was BBC Sports Personality of the Year in 1961. He was awarded the OBE in 1959 and knighted in 2000.
